Competitions at Henlow Golf Club
Our club caters to all with specialized tournaments throughout the year for individuals, mixed groups, seniors, and ladies.
We feature unique competitions with medals, Texas Scramble, greensomes, and of course Stableford available.

Our competition calendar is organized in an easy-to-use accordion format. Simply click on a month to reveal the detailed schedule of tournaments and events.
If a tournament is labeled ‘Ladies’ or ‘Seniors,’ then you must be one to take part. All other competitions are open for all to participate.
Please Arrive 30 Minutes Before Competition Start Time
To give us ample time to set up the competition, explain the format and rules, collect entry fees, put all players into groups, and provide everybody with tee times, please arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled competition start time.

Competition Questions
I’m sure some of you may have questions about our competitions, so we have compiled a list of frequently asked questions and their answers below. If your question isn’t covered, don’t hesitate to contact us directly; we’re always happy to help. Happy Golfing!
Who?
Our competitions are open to all club members with an official handicap. Some events may have specific entry requirements, such as age categories, competition format, etc.
What?
We host a variety of competitions, including stroke play, match play, stableford, and team events. We also run monthly medals, club championships, and fun social tournaments.
Why?
Competing is a great way to improve your game, test your skills under different conditions, and engage with your fellow members. Plus, you’ll have a chance to win prizes and work towards lowering your handicap.
Where?
All competitions are held on our club’s course. Occasionally, we may participate in inter-club matches at other local courses. Details for each event will be provided in advance.
When?
Competitions take place throughout the year, with club championships held in spring/summer. Weekly and monthly competitions are also available. Check the club calendar or noticeboard for specific dates.
How?
You can enter by adding your name to the sign-up sheet distributed to all members via WhatsApp by the competition secretary the week of the competition date. Deadlines may vary, so be sure to check in advance.
